I have been trying for the past 3 years to get the government to make it law that every dog should be micro-chipped as thousands of good stray dogs are being put to sleep every year. My MP Gloria De Piero mp for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire does not want to stick her neck out for this new law. All dog rescue centre's are crying out for this compulsory micro-chipping. So i hope who ever reads this will e-mail their own MP and help to stop all these stray dogs being put to sleep and the owner fined and also help to stop puppy farming. from x dog welfare officer thank you please help.

Here in Australia, in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, microchipping is compulsory on all dogs and cats before they are sold or given away. In Tasmania it is compulsory for dogs only and Western Australia for cats only. The Northern Territory and South Australia don't yet have legislation. ...

Its like hitting my head against a brick wall. Its a crazy world 100,000 dogs are put to sleep every year and no one is fined.
