Hi, I'm from Bangor NI & Katie has been a brilliant companion for 16 yrs. I got her from a friend (when she was 3 months) who realised it wasn't fair to keep her as she wasn't able to spend enough time with her; her loss my gain! She loves getting her ears rubbed & lying with her head on my foot & every night before bed stands to get me to rub her hind legs coz of her arthritis. Before she settles for the night she comes round my side of bed twice for a pat just to make sure I'm still there before she settles. Her fav toy is foxes head with tug of war rope @ each end, tho these days she isn't up to that but likes to lie down with her head on it or put her crossed front paws on it.

snoopydog replied: Hi Claire, the old lady is still going although her breathing is slowly getting worse but still enjoys her walks and her meds seem to keep her comfortable. I had to go to Englandfor 4 days for a family wedding and was worried sick about having to leave her, one of my neighbours sorted her out and came and sat with her which was good, I was worried sick she would be gone by the time I got back, anyway all is ok. How r things with you x
